*March 13 final project for New England Colonies: Students will create 1/3 of their Colonies poster
March 16- April 3 Southern Colonies
*April 3 final project due for Southern Colonies: Students will create the second part of their colonies poster
April 20th Final Report on results of study
Final Assessment for each section: 13 Colonies
The poster will be split into 3 sections: New England Colonies, Middle Colonies, and Southern Colonies
Each section will include: · Economics · Map · Description of family life/roles of father, mother, and children · Life in the colonies from the following perspectives:
o Women
o Africans
o Working class
o Wealthy · Geography · Settlement patterns · Government · Relationship with Native Americans
We chose to assess the students using a poster board divided into 3 sections so that we can easily make comparisons between their learning from one region to the next
